Main Pharmacy (Atrium)
The Main Pharmacy processes all new prescriptions from Wright-Patterson Medical Center providers. Activate your prescriptions by using Q-Anywhere (details below) or by coming into the pharmacy and checking in using one of our kiosks.
Satellite Pharmacy (Kittyhawk)
The Kittyhawk Pharmacy processes all off-base prescriptions, all prescription refills and any on-base provider new prescriptions you request at Kittyhawk. All refills must be called in at 937-257-9016 or requested via the MHS GENESIS Patient Portal. Refills can be picked up at the Kittyhawk Pharmacy or the ScriptCenter. Activate your prescriptions by using Q-Anywhere (how to below), calling the satellite pharmacy, or in person using one of our kiosks.
ScriptCenter Kiosk (pick up only)
The ScriptCenter is an automated locker system that safely stores new and refill prescriptions for patient pick up. You can request to utilize this function during any step of the activation or refill process. The ScriptCenter is located in the Exchange Mall directly between the Exchange and Commissary (across from the restrooms). Pick up availability matches the open hours of the Commissary or Exchange.
New Medications requested at the ScriptCenter before 1400 will be delivered each day. Refills will be available for pick up the next duty day.
Note: ScriptCenter is NOT capable of storing controlled substances or refrigerated items. These specific medications must be picked up at the Kittyhawk Pharmacy. Please plan accordingly.
Refills
To request a refill on a medication received from Wright-Patterson or any other Military Treatment Facility pharmacy, call 937-257-9016. Follow the prompts utilizing the prescription number on the medication bottle. Additionally, refills request can be made using the MHS GENESIS Patient Portal and selecting RX Refills tab on the top right bar within your portal profile.

We understand any PCS is challenging. With MHS GENESIS your prescriptions follow you wherever you go! Whether you’re leaving or coming to Wright-Patterson our pharmacy team is here to assist you with your medication needs.
- If you’ve received a prescription from your last base and have refills, use one of the options in the refill section above to request your refill.
- If your prescriptions are from an off-base pharmacy and you need them transferred to Wright-Patterson, give our Kittyhawk Pharmacy a call and we can assist you with getting them processed at our facility.
Activate your Prescriptions before you visit using Q-Anywhere
(New Prescriptions from ON-BASE Providers)
1) Text “Get in Line” to 1-877-909-2578. Please wait up to 5 minutes for a text response to generate.
2) Give the DOD ID number (located on your ID card) for the patient needing their prescription(s) processed. Follow directions in the text.
3) Choose the pharmacy location you'd like to visit for pick up.
4) Next, choose how to process your prescriptions:
a. “Pick up in 2 hours” (pick up today, 1600 activation cutoff time)
b. “Pick Up Next Duty Day” (non-urgent)
c. Pick up at the ScriptCenter (all prescriptions requested before 1400 will be available at the kiosk after 1600 the same day. some exclusions apply, see below)
5) Once submitted, you will receive a notification that you are "in line". The pharmacy will begin processing your prescription(s).
6) When you have your Q# you can free text the pharmacy the name of the medications you are requesting to be activated.
7) Once you receive a text message notification that your prescription(s) are ready for pick up, proceed to your chosen location.
8) If you are experiencing technical difficulties, or have not been contacted for pick up, please come into the pharmacy or give us a call at 937-656-1656.
Note: For prescription refills or to activate a new prescription from an OFF-BASE provider call 937-656-1656 before making the drive to the Kittyhawk Pharmacy.
TRICARE Formulary Search Tool
Use the TRICARE Formulary Search Tool to look-up your drug. A search can tell you:
- Formulary status (generic drug, brand-name drug, non-formulary drug, non-covered drug)
- Where the prescription can be filled
- Copayments and limitations, such as prior authorization
- Coverage review requirements and forms
- Alternative medications, including costs
To start your search, you’ll need to put in the brand name or generic name of the drug and then select the strength prescribed, as well as your gender and age.
