CRNA Residency

Program Summary
The CRNA program at WPMC is one of two Air Force phase II clinical sites for the Uniformed Services University (USU) registered nurse anesthesia (RNA) Doctor of Nursing Practice program. Residents rotate at WPMC, Miami Valley Hospital, and the Dayton Children’s Hospital.
Dental Advanced Education in General Dentistry

Program Summary
The WPMC AEGD-1 is accredited by the College of Dental Accreditation (CODA) and provides comprehensive clinical training in all dental specialties. The 1-year program provides high quality dentists for our in-garrison and deployed airmen.
Interservice PA Program (IPAP)

Total of 8 students at any point in time
Program Summary
In 2017 IPAP approached WPMC requesting we add WPMC as a site to train IPAP Phase II students. The GME team at WPMC stepped up to this task and the executive team endorsed it in 2018. We recently received our 7th and 8th students and have now reached the capacity.
Psychology
Length and Class Size
1-year program/4-6 graduates per year
Program Summary
The psychology program is a pre-doctoral program and accredited by the American Psychological Association. It provides clinical training in all facets of AF mental health to prepare psychologists to deliver high-quality services in support of wartime and peacetime military operations.
Social Work Residency

1-year program/3-5 graduates per year
Program Summary
The SW residency program is a 1-year post master’s degree program to prepare AF social workers to provide psychological services in-garrison and in support of worldwide military contingency operations. Residents spend designated training time in the Mental Health Clinic, Family Advocacy Program, Alcohol and Drug Abuse Treatment Program and Behavioral Health Optimization Program.
